According to German Newspaper, Spiegel when Karl Lagerfeld first saw Strumbel's clocks he exclaimed, "A new expression of German culture, how stimulating."  German born Karl Lagerfeld only has one piece of art in his amazing library and that is a clock from Stefan Strumbel.

The clock is a part of his series of clocks called “What the fuck is Heimat?”.
