Kristjana S Williams
Icelandic born artist and graduate of Central St. Martins Kristjana S Williams’ experience spans art, design, fashion and graphics.
The founder and creative director of Beyond the Valley, a shop in West London supporting new & emerging talent, Kristjana has worked closely with creatives across the fashion, art, and design industries.
Kristjana is currently focusing on her designs, layering and interweaving the aesthetic of Victorian prints with modern and contemporary illustration, highlighted in vibrant colours. Inspired by the starkness of Icelandic nature and “the symmetry that lies in all things living”.
Expanding beyond prints and murals, her intricate and magical designs adorn a capsule collection of large silk scarves and a selection of home designs including trays, cushions and wallpaper.
Recent work includes large scale mural displays at the V&A for the London Design Festival, a collaboration with heritage furniture maker George Smith and wallpaper designer Cole & Son, exclusive prints for Liberty of Londonand commissions by the Chanel Group among others.
